Graphite rod is a non-metallic product, which is made of carbon and graphite with appropriate binder, extruded and baked at 2200 degree . It is commonly used as an electric heater in vacuum furnace. The maximum service temperature can reach 3000 degree . It is easy to oxidize at high temperature. In addition to vacuum, it can only be used in neutral atmosphere and reducing atmosphere. It has small thermal expansion coefficient, large thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance, Excellent cold and heat resistance.
